Silver Pines endings: how to get Leave, Live and Rest

One save is enough: after the final boss, save at the phone next to you, then reload it for each ending.
How the ending choice works
Everything branches from one conversation. After the final boss you are teleported, find the last Memento (the Polaroid Negative) and a phone. Save. Walk right to find Eddie Velvet, talk to him twice and choose: Kill Eddie Velvet or Leave. Killing him locks in Ending A. Choosing Leave (sparing him) sends you back to Downtown, where Live and Rest are both still possible.
Ending A: Leave
- Save at the phone after the final boss.
- Go right through the passage and talk to Eddie Velvet twice.
- Choose Kill Eddie Velvet.
- Back outside the Miner Diner, answer the phone and get in your car.
Ending B: Live
- Have all 25 Mementos (the last one drops after the final boss).
- Reload, talk to Eddie and choose Leave. Walk east to return to Downtown.
- Go right, up the ladder, and talk to the man leaning on the wrecked vehicle.
- Travel to the Burned Man in the Silver Pines Outskirts. With every Memento he sends you to the furnace in the shack to the east.
- Use the furnace and answer Yes to burn everything.
Ending C: Rest (best ending)
- Gold Ring #1: fill the Locked Ring Box (from the Miner Diner restroom, start of the game) with every Star and open it.
- Gold Ring #2: reload, spare Eddie (choose Leave) and, back in Downtown, go left: take the ring from Alice Baker’s body in the water.
- Go to the Rabbit Hole Bar, backstage, and put both rings in the wall with two ring-shaped indents.
- In the alternate bar, talk to the woman on the left and the bartender, use the Storage Container, then talk to the Server.
Spoiler: the secret boss
The Server turns into a huge creature. It starts with a chase — keep running past obstacles — then a stand-off: dodge falling debris, duck the long poke and step out of the poison blob. A second chase ends at the Miner Diner for the last stand.
Stars for the Locked Ring Box
Two independent guides list five Stars for the box (one early walkthrough says seven — if your box still won’t open, keep exploring). Confirmed locations:
- The Rabbit Hole Bar, on the table you sat at in the dream.
- Room 3 at the Crimson Bear Motel — key in the Lighthouse (Sledgehammer), keypad 6671.
- Mt. Siah Kopa, from the girl in the yellow raincoat near Thelend Broadcasting.
The remaining Stars come from late-game side characters; we’re adding their exact spots here as soon as we can confirm them.
Mementos you can’t miss (for Live)
There are 25 Mementos. Several drop from bosses or one-time scenes, so grab them immediately:

Yes. Save at the phone after the final boss, take the Leave ending, then reload that save for Live and Rest.

25. The Burden of Memories achievement counts all 25, and the Live ending requires every one.
