Silver Pines story and characters explained
Silver Pines is a survival-horror metroidvania set in small-town America, the debut from Wych Elm (published by Team17). You play Red Walker, sent to find the musician Eddie Velvet. A simple job turns into a nightmare as shadowy creatures close in — and the game wears its Silent Hill and Twin Peaks influences openly.
The premise
Red wakes at the Miner Diner on the edge of town to a ringing payphone. On the line is his client, Mr. Jackman, who says Eddie Velvet is at the Crimson Bear Motel. From there the trail leads across the river to Downtown, up to the Cable Car, and finally to the mountain broadcast station on Mt. Siah Kopa.

Eddie and Alice were close — a photo of them hangs in 4B and the finale replays their conversations. The Rabbit Hole Bar and its staff are central to the best ending, where the woman from Room 3 reappears. Which ending you get depends on whether Red finishes the contract on Eddie — see all endings.
